I was alone during those days, afraid that I will get mugged, killed and forever forgotten, but whenever this song started blasting on my cheap and old earphones- everything felt like I was traveling through a rainbow sent from the future. The corporate buildings and fading lights of the street lamps became my disco ball, as I walk past people who was unfortunate enough to sleep on the streets. This song was like a filter for almost 4 minutes that I can see the world through, that tells me everything isn't that bad with the right soundtrack. This song was like the warm embrace of a friend that I didn't know I had, at that time, an underground pop artist, but by some parasocial-modern age miracle, I connected with this song to a level- I didn't know I can experience. Thank you Rina and Clarence for making such a wonderful song and EP.
